Description

The best dip around! This easy brown sugar cream cheese fruit dip recipe only takes 5 ingredients and less than 5 minutes to make. It’s the perfect combination of flavors & makes every occasion a little more delicious!

Ingredients

Scale

For The Brown Sugar Cream Cheese Fruit Dip:

  • 1 (8-ounce) block cream cheese, slightly softened at room temperature for 1520 minutes
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (lightly packed)
  • 2 Tablespoons sugar (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • pinch (less than 1/8 teaspoon) salt

Optional Mix-Ins Or Garnishes:

  • Toffee bits (like Heath Bits’O’Brickle), caramel sauce, or mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, brown sugar, sugar, vanilla, and salt.
  2. Use a hand mixer on low speed, then increase to medium speed to beat and combine the ingredients. Beat at least 2-3 minutes, or until all sugar crystals are dissolved. (It shouldn’t look gritty or feel gritty if you rubbed it between your fingers.)
  3. Transfer to a serving bowl and serve immediately with fresh fruit on a fruit tray. Or, you can store in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 3-4 days. (I recommend using a spoon or fork to give it a quick mix before serving if you make it in advance.)
  4. If desired, garnish the dip with a sprinkle of toffee bits, a drizzle of caramel sauce, or a few mini chocolate chips right before serving.

Notes

  • I recommend full-fat cream cheese here for the best flavor and texture. (Lite or low-fat cream cheese can be watery and clumpy.)
