Hi Drashti! No, I mean 1 1/2 cups each (1.5 cups) of water, mint and sugar. If you're nervous you won't have enough, you can use 2 cups each so you have some wiggle room.

Then, for the mocktail itself, for 12 people, you’d use: 12 ounces mint simple syrup, 24 ounces fresh lime juice, 48 ounces cranberry juice and 24-48 ounces sparkling water, depending on how much strong you’d like the drink to taste (more water = less strong tasting)

hi Emily,
thank you for your response. did you mean 1/5 cups each of water, mint and sugar should work well for 12 glasses of the drink?

In reply to Drashti.

Hi Drashti! This recipe is great for a crowd, but there are a couple things to keep in mind:

1. This recipe makes more than enough simple syrup for one drink, so you probably only need to make 1 1/2x the mint simple syrup recipe. So, 1 1/2 cups water, 1 1/2 cups sugar, and 1 1/2 cups mint leaves for the syrup. (If you're nervous, you can use 2 cups water, 2 cups sugar, and 2 cups mint leaves, so you have plenty)

2. Then, for the mocktail itself, for 12 people, you'd use: 12 ounces mint simple syrup, 24 ounces fresh lime juice, 48 ounces cranberry juice and 24-48 ounces sparkling water, depending on how much strong you'd like the drink to taste (more water = less strong tasting)

Hope that helps!

In reply to Misty.

Hi, Misty! Congratulations on your wedding!

I am an herbal tea girl, so I haven't made any of my mocktails with green, white, or black teas. I do love pairing herbal tea with fruit & mint flavors, so you could absolutely experiment with that!

Our Orange Citrus Mocktail could be lovely with a citrus herbal tea, this Cranberry Lime mocktail could work with a hibiscus or fruity tea, or you could go for a big batch of our Moscow Mule or Cranberry Moscow Mule mocktails. Our Grapefruit Mocktail scales nicely and could be fresh and lovely with the notes of rosemary for the fall!

Otherwise, if you're set on tea, you might love the tea drinks at Oh How Civilized. She's a tea pro! (Literally--she's a certified tea Sommelier!)

Hello,
I'm planning a medieval-themed November wedding, and along with hot mulled red wine and mulled alcoholic Cider as our dinner wine, I'm planning on having a non-alcoholic drink table for people to either enjoy as is or add their shot of choice from the bar. I'm trying to find 3 elevated tea mocktails that I can pre-batch in 3-gallon dispensers. Could this recipe be used with green tea in place of sparkling water, like you mojito recipe? also do you have any other recommendations from your site? Thanks in advance, I'm enjoying reading your posts!
