I love this recipe and have made it probably 10 times in the last 6 months. I always add a teaspoon or so of instant espresso powder in order to deepen the chocolate flavor. It was a notable improvement from the one batch I did without.

This is more than a thin chocolate syrup. It is flavorful and thicker than Hersheys but not quite fudge. The taste is really concentrated and delicious…it was so quick to come together and my husband loved it too!!

Best chocolate syrup recipe I have found and I’ve tried a bunch of them. They all have pretty similar ingredients but this one is just perfect. I find a lot of them add too much cocoa or else dutch processed and it’s not very sweet. Thanks for the posting this recipe.

This is the first time I have made this, but it will not be my last! I added some espresso powder to it (2 1/4 tsp.), and it was so good! Good enough to eat right out of the saucepan ❤!! Thank you for sharing this with us!
