Our Favorite Chocolate Chips

What’s the best brand of chocolate chips? That’ll definitely be up to personal preference, but I recommend brands without additional stabilizers. Look for simple, recognizable ingredients, and avoid brands that use “chocolate liqueur” or “chocolate flavoring” in place of cacao, cocoa beans, and cocoa butter. 2 great brands we bake with often are:

  • Guittard. Super high-quality chocolate chips that are gluten-free and nut-free! Their semisweet chocolate chips + dark chocolate chips are free of the top 9 allergens and are also dairy-free, which makes them a great option for all kinds of bakes. These melt smoothly and work well in all kinds of recipes! (They’re even Fair Trader certified!)
  • Enjoy Life. Allergy-friendly chocolate chips free of the top 8 allergens. We love the mini chocolate chips, especially, for things like our Chocolate Chip Muffins. I also love that they melt so well!
