Gather Your Ingredients
One thing that makes these creamy lemonade popsicles such a perfect treat is that you only need 3 ingredients to get started! Let’s take a look:

Don’t Forget A Popsicle Mold!
I’ve literally made hundreds of popsicles with this over the last 6 years and it’s still going strong! It’s easy to use, holds the sticks in place, has a lid to prevent freezer burn AND doesn’t hold onto flavors like a silicone popsicle mold does.
How To Make Creamy Lemonade Popsicles, Step By Step
As always, you can find the full recipe, with ingredient amounts, detailed instructions, and tips in the recipe card below.

- Combine. Add lemon juice, sweetened condensed milk, and water to a blender.
- Blend. Puree until smooth. Scrape down the sides of the blender as needed to incorporate all of the sweetened condensed milk into the lemon mixture!
- Freeze. Pour the creamy lemonade mixture into your popsicle mold. Cover with a lid and insert popsicle sticks. Place on a level surface in your freezer and freeze for at least 5-6 hours, or until completely solid.
- Serve & Store. To release from popsicle mold, run the wells of the popsicle mold under cool water (not warm water or theyโll melt!) for a few seconds and use a side-to-side motion to release popsicle from the mold. Store leftover popsicles in a single layer in an airtight freezer bag or freezer-safe container in the freezer up to 2 weeks.

Don’t Have A Popsicle Mold? Try This!
If you don’t have a popsicle mold or can’t buy one right now, you can still make this creamy lemonade popsicle recipe! Here’s what I recommend:
- Set out 3 oz. paper cups (they work best) or small plastic/melamine cups.
- Fill the cups Pour the popsicle mixture into the cups (youโll need to adjust a bit for size), leaving a bit of room for the popsicles to expand in the freezer.
- Cover the cups with foil and insert a popsicle stick. (The foil keeps the sticks in place)
- Place cups on a cutting board, tray, or plate for stability and freeze as directed. (Remember that your popsicles may take longer to freeze depending on how wide & deep your cups are.)
- When theyโre frozen, remove the foil and peel away the paper cup! (Or run the outside of a plastic cup under cold water for a few seconds to loosen and wiggle the stick side to side to remove it from the cup.)

FAQ + Tricks For The Best Creamy Lemonade Popsicles
Dairy-Free? Try This! Look for sweetened condensed coconut milk, like Nature’s Charm or Let’s Do Organic! It’ll work just as well here, though it will add a slight coconut flavor to these creamy lemon popsicles.
Use FRESH Lemon Juice For Best Results. I promise it makes a difference, and will give these lemonade popsicles the most lemony flavor. This lemon squeezer makes quick work of the job!
The Best Popsicle Mold. Just in case you missed it above, this is my favorite popsicle mold. It comes with a lid to help hold the popsicle sticks in place, can balance well in the freezer, and doesn’t hold on to flavors the way a silicone mold does. I’ve quite literally made HUNDREDS of homemade popsicles over the years, and it never lets me down.
Swaps & Variations To Try!
Want to play around with this homemade lemon popsicle recipe? Here are a few ideas to start:
- Turn Up The Lemon! For stronger lemon flavor, add 1 teaspoon lemon zest along with the lemon juice.
- Use Meyer Lemons. Instead of regular lemons, try meyer lemons! They’re kind of like a cross between and orange and a lemon and taste great!
- Go Lime! Or, swap in lime juice for a creamy limeade popsicle! It’s got similar flavor to Brazilian limeade!
- Add Fruit. Mash or blend in fresh fruit like fresh raspberries, strawberries, or peaches to add extra flavor.
- Try a Twist. Use a little fresh ginger or fresh mint to infuse extra flavor!
